The duck, among other animals.

The Duck is a fictional character appearing in Chapters 2 and 3 of the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson). The Duck features with a group of birds including a Dodo, a Lory and an Eaglet.

The Duck was a representation of Rev. Robinson Duckworth, who accompanied Dodgson (the Dodo) on the original boat trip on the River Thames that inspired the book, with Alice Liddell (the inspiration for the main character Alice in the book) and her sisters Lorina (the Lory) and Edith (the Eaglet).
